With today’s SUPERIOR assessment by Honors CenterStage and ALL of Osbourn’s choirs (Eclipse and Concert Choir), Osbourn High School has again been awarded the VMEA’s Blue Ribbon School Award for Music!!
The VMEA Blue Ribbon Award is the highest award given to a school’s music programs in the Commonwealth of Virginia and recognizes achieved excellence in Band, Orchestra, and Choral Performance.
All disciplines in a school must receive a rating of “Superior” at assessment to qualify for this award.
Congratulations to all our talented choir, band, and orchestra musicians at Osbourn High School for their continued excellence!! Kudos as well to directors Angela Easley (Choir), Andrew Wassum (Band), and Latoya Lamons (Orchestra) for their invaluable contributions to the Osbourn Performing Arts department and our students!!!
