CenterStage at Osbourn High School
Two years after their last competition, the Osbourn High School premier show choir and band, CenterStage, returned to the competition stage for the Commonwealth Choral Invitational held at Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Virginia, on Feb. 26, 2022.manchesterchoirs.org/.The award-winning choir program members in Manassas are active ambassadors for Osbourn High School throughout the City of Manassas and Prince William County through performances at local events, venues and for community organizations. The program relies on community performance stipends, fundraisers and donations to the Osbourn Choral Boosters to support the extra costs of competitions and costuming. CenterStage’s next competition is Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Koste Classic held at Manchester High School in Midlothian, Virginia. The Virginia Music Educators Association's (VMEA) Blue Ribbon Award recognizes school Performing Arts programs that achieve excellence in Band, Orchestra, and Choral Performance. All disciplines in a single school must receive a rating of "Superior" at assessments to qualify for the award.
